I find joy in stillness

Yes, I still find lockdown a precious time. No, I don't enjoy every second of it.

Our lives are so cluttered. We keep running around, working a lot, worrying too much. So much noice. Now we have this time to be with ourselves, separated from all the useless additions.

I take more deep breaths. I worry less. I love more. Deeper. I am less distracted.

If you can not relate to any of these, dig deeper. Never in our busy lives we were given this opportunity to "just sit".

Let's appreciate this time.

Be still,

Boundaries

When you are going through a tough time, how much you should expect your loved ones to be there for you?

This question is very important. Expectations shape friendships and relationships. You need to know the answer to this question for every single person in your life, and you need to tell them. If they don't agree, both ends need to compromise.

That's how it has to be done. You can not go around and repeat, "I'm like this",  "I want to be treated like this". This is not how it works. You need to meet half way.

Boundaries. It's always about boundaries.

Day I-Dont-Know: Self isolation

Hello;

I don't see any purpose of counting days in the lockdown anymore. It seems it's here to stay. I'm not going to lie, it is not easy. It's challenging my patience. Counting days at G's seemed beautiful. It was like when you look back and tell yourself, "I was on holidays for a week". That "week" counts! It's 7 days. 7 nights. You like those 7 days and nights. So counting 42 days meant everything. Every moment of it.
Now everything is on pause. I just need to be more patient.
And this fucking period needs to come now!
